Join our growing team at Infrapro Communications Ltd. as a Fibre Optic Drop Technician. Experience is an asset but not a requirement.

The successful candidate should possess the following:

Qualifications :

MUST HAVE valid BC class 5 driver's license Good physical condition Willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions Ability to work in confined spaces Mechanically inclined Ability to do fine, precise work with their hands Safety minded Authorized to work in Canada Fluent in English (reading, writing and conversational) Maintain a professional working relationship with co-workers and clients Must be reliable, trustworthy and have a positive attitude

Roles & Responsibilities:

Installing underground and aerial fibre drops for residential housing and businesses. Placing buried conduits by hand trenching and Hydrovac operations. Termination and routing of fibre optic cable. Conduct Optical Power Meter testing of fiber connections. Handle a physically demanding workload, which includes heavy lifting, climbing ladders/poles, crawling in confined spaces and working in all weather conditions Remediating Landscaping sites. Use ladders or bucket trucks to access aerial locations. Trouble shoot technical issues swiftly and accurately. Maintain Company Vehicles to ensure good working condition and cleanliness. Follow safe work practices and abide by all safety rules and regulations. Flexible to work various shifts: days, evenings, and weekends, to meet business needs.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
