  • Reads, interprets and understands facilities based on engineering diagrams or maps to perform accurate and detailed inventory of outside fibre plant records into a facilities and assignment database
  • Investigates discrepancies between database records and permanent plant location records and makes required modifications.
  • Build, correct, maintain and update records in inventory database. Review "as built" construction plans received after work order completion and makes necessary corrections to the database.
  • Deliver technical assistance and support to various departments.
  • Manage a support group mailbox.
  • Manage a tracking sheet to provide facilities with a background of all jobs.
  • This is an entry level data inventory position.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • Level 30 Math or post secondary schooling in a technical field
  • Keyboarding skills 20 wpm
  • Knowledge of Access Network plans, symbols, and design procedures
  • Knowledge of computers and various software applications
  • Attention to detail
  • Good communication skills and the ability to deal effectively with others
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills
  • Must be fluent in Microsoft Office Suite
