Responsibilities and Accountabilities

The responsibilities and accountabilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:

Communicate with Supervisor to confirm which models are to be made this shift.

Make sure the correct molds are in place and have been waxed and prepared by mold prep and ready for lay up.

Prepare chopper gun for use including routine maintenance to ensure proper functionality.

Complete chopping as per the quantity required, using the metering system for resin application.

Roll fiberglass to mold when not operating the chopper gun or as required.

Complete all molds ensuring high quality application by adhering to specification required to meet or exceed company standards.

Abide by all Health & Safety rules and requirements.

Participate in all type of training (job and safety) arranged by Granby.

Carry out any other work assigned by the supervisor or management.

Working Conditions

Able to work unsupervised.

Work assigned must be completed in a correct, safe and timely manner.

Able to push/pull 50 lbs, bend and lift.

Complete regular daily and weekly maintenance of equipment.

Report any malfunctioning equipment to Maintenance immediately.

Qualifications

Fiberglass experience preferred.

Proficient in speaking and writing English preferred.

Personal attributes include ethical, open-minded, observant and tenacious.

Quick learner, Team Player with initiatives, capable and willing to meet deadlines.

Pay: $24.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
