The Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the food and beverage department within our establishment. This role involves managing staff, ensuring high-quality food preparation and service, and maintaining compliance with food safety regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily food service operations, ensuring a seamless dining experience for guests.
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards and presentation.
Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and controlling costs associated with food and beverage.
Train, mentor, and evaluate staff performance to foster a positive team environment.
Implement and enforce food safety protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations.
Utilize POS systems, such as Micros POS, for efficient order processing and cash handling.
Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process for new team members.
Collaborate with other departments to enhance guest experiences through exceptional hospitality.
Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly to maintain high levels of satisfaction.
Skills
Proven experience in high volume catering and Banquets operations.
Strong supervisory experience with demonstrated team management capabilities.
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence.
Familiarity with restaurant management practices and kitchen operations.
Proficient in cash handling procedures and financial reporting related to food service operations.
Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in the culinary field.
Experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is preferred.
Barista experience is a plus for establishments offering coffee services.
