Farm/nursery Worker
Job Description
FULL-TIME Seasonal EMPLOYMENT We are hiring 4 seasonal positions, in Niagara on the Lake ON. Our ideal applicant has experience working on a farm and is comfortable working in all types of weather. This person is a team player and performs with attention to detail. Responsibilities \xc2\xb7 General Farm/Nursery labour: dig trees, grade and organize trees; assemble tree orders for individual customers, and prepare orders for shipping; plant seed, weed, transplant and prune shrubs and small trees, move containerized plants using wheelbarrows or tractors, and other nursery/farm jobs. \xc2\xb7 keep work area clean and organized \xc2\xb7 must be able to think critically, be reliable and responsible, and work independently. Minimum Qualifications (required) \xc2\xb7 Positive attitude and strong work ethic \xc2\xb7 Must be able to work occasional Saturdays Additional Qualifications
- Farm experience is helpful, but not required
- Reading tree labels and reading order forms is important.
Contract length: 10 weeks Salary: From $17.00 per hour Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Do you have transportation to get to work - there is not bussing available.
