This job is ideal for college or University students looking for summer work! TPS Equine - Small Hooves Big Hearts has been training miniature horses for 6 years to assist in therapy programs. In 2021 they purchased a farm in Omemee where they have expanded to include other equids and ruminant animals. We are looking for someone for full-time hours Wed-Sat, occasional Sundays. Your job will include conducting farm tours for visitors, helping in the gardens and farm market stand as well as learning to care for the animals who call Small Hooves home. The work is physically demanding as well as rewarding. You will walk a lot, you will shovel poop, you will be taught what is supposed to grow where. From the CEO\'s to the student volunteers, everyone pitches in and works hard to provide a customer experience that is second to none. Into our third year on the farm we have developed a reputation for professionalism, attention to our clients needs and outstanding, clean, well-mannered animals. *Note some of the animals who call Small Hooves home have experienced trauma in their lives. We take care of our staff, however we require the following from you: Punctual Reliable Flexible Good Attention to detail Friendly and Outgoing Personality - you must be able to deal with the public.
