Longmire Farms is a family-run grain operation managing approximately
11,500 acres
of cereals, pulses, and oilseeds each year. We are looking for a
full-time team member
to join our crew and assist with all aspects of seeding, spraying, harvest, and equipment maintenance.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working on a grain farm and be familiar with modern agricultural practices. You will be expected to operate and maintain a variety of farm machinery and participate in seasonal field operations. Must be willing to relocate.
Key Responsibilities
Operate seeding systems, combines, sprayers, and other modern farm equipment
Perform basic equipment servicing and mechanical maintenance
Use agricultural software, GPS, and precision farming systems
Assist with general shop work, welding, and fabrication as needed
Follow all farm safety practices
Qualifications
Previous experience in grain farming required
Knowledge of seeding, harvesting, and spraying systems
Mechanically inclined and comfortable working with tools and machinery
Experience with
MIG/arc welding and plasma cutting
is an asset
1A driver's license
or commercial trucking experience strongly encouraged.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

R Series high-clearance sprayer
. Our farm features a
6,200 sq. ft. modern shop
with a full kitchen.

Work Schedule
40 hours per week during the low season.
7 days/week during peak season (weather permitting), 10-12+ hours per day
