Farm Labourer
Job Description
We are a well-established family farm looking to hire additional staff members to meet the needs of our growing business. We are looking for individuals with a positive attitude who are not afraid of hard work. This is a fast pace environment with physical work which involves lifting up to 50 pounds. An attention to detail is important when caring for animals.Day to day duties include but are not limited to:Feeding and Watering the AnimalsCleaning Animal HousingCleaning and Maintaining the FacilitySome Tractor WorkAssistance with Hay BalingAlthough having a love for animals is a must, having some work experience within an animal field would be an asset.The position is full time, 5 days per week, may include weekend shifts.The starting wage will be $16.00 per hour during the 3 month probationary period, and then based upon performance, will increase to $17.00 per hour.This position is mostly indoors.Job Type: Full-timeSalary: From $16.00 per hourBenefits:
