Job Description

Arnal Bro's Farms Ltd is currently seeking a farm hand/labourer to join their team.

Must be a resident of Canada.

Knowledge of seeding, spraying, and harvesting crops.

Knowledge of cattle, calving, herding and branding etc.

Operating and maintaining large and small farm equipment.

Mechanical experience

Class 1 license would be beneficial but not required.

Must have a good sense of direction and be able to work alone or with a team.

Must be physically fit and able to lift and carry 50lbs plus.

Must be able to work long hours on your feet.

Must be able to show up for your shifts.

Must have a valid driver's license and own a vehicle for personal use. A company vehicle will be provided for work.

Accommodations will be provided with utilities and satellite TV for single or families.

Pay will depend on experience. Room for advancement for the right person.

Working hours may depend on weather, livestock and crop schedules. And this will include feeding animals regularly, daily chores, yard work, planting, cultivating and harvesting crops. You cannot have a "this is not my job attitude". This is a team and rely on each other to get the job done.

The nature of farming means we cannot offer a 9am-5pm position. Candidates seeking a 9am-5pm position need not apply.
