Dairy Farm Team Member
Job Description
We are a small family dairy farm looking for the right person to join our team. Experience working on a dairy farm is an asset. Looking for someone who can operate equipment to do the feeding and cleaning of the cows and calves, as well as care for the animals. Maintenance of equipment, barns and farm property would also be expected. Seasonal duties include irrigation, harvesting and planting in the summer as well as pasture management. The position is fast paced, but attention to detail is important, so a fit, strong person is best. (Must be able to lift at least 50lbs) Must be able to work both independentlay and as a team.
We are looking for someone who has dairy experience ideally, but finding the right fit to join our team is critical, so additional training will be provided for the right person. For the right person, on farm housing is available.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
