Farm Hand/labourer
Job Description
The successful applicant will work with the farm team to successfully complete tasks required for the 2025 crop season.
Applicant must be a team player that can help work towards a common goal by working both on their own and with others.
Applicant will be required to perform physical work including but not limited to shovelling grain, moving augers and other equipment by hand, lifting items in excess of 40kgs, replace/upgrade sheets on grain bins, and any other day to day farm requirements.
The applicant will be required to operate and help maintain tractor, tandem truck, Semi Tractor trailer with the appropriate license, operate augers to load and unload trucks and bins and perform manual tasks and other duties as required.
The applicant requires at minimum a class 5 drivers license and preference will be given to class 1A.
Any experience maintaining/repairing/using machinery and other mechanical knowledge is a plus. Basic knowledge and/or previous experience with farm equipment is an asset, but willingness to learn/adapt and take direction is required.
The applicant must be responsible, safety oriented and enthusiastic to learn and contribute.
Wage is dependent on experience.

Contract length: 6 months
Pay: $22.00-$33.00 per hour
