Our Farm Equipment operators are responsible for daily farm operations including operating farm equipment, hauling grain, and maintenance of both farm equipment and properties. Essential Functions: \xc2\xb7 Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment; \xc2\xb7 Plant, and tillage operations; \xc2\xb7 Perform general farm duties; \xc2\xb7 Harvest crops; \xc2\xb7 Fertilize and spray crops; \xc2\xb7 Haul grain; \xc2\xb7 Work with the team to maintain equipment and shop; including daily preventative maintenance and winter repair and service; \xc2\xb7 Use technology hardware/software for efficient task completion and accurate data collection; \xc2\xb7 Maintain farm and landowner properties, including shop space and yard; \xc2\xb7 Safely and efficiently operate a variety of power hand tools and large farm equipment; \xc2\xb7 Participate in inventory management and communicate needs with manager; \xc2\xb7 Maintain a neat and safe work environment; \xc2\xb7 Provide suggestions for improvements that will create greater efficiency of farm operations. Essential Qualifications: \xc2\xb7 High School Diploma or GED;

• Ability to frequently lift and carry items up to 50 lbs;
• Willing and able to work outside in all weather conditions;

\xc2\xb7 Class 5 Drivers license; \xc2\xb7 Acceptable driver\xe2\x80\x99s abstract; \xc2\xb7 Experience in crop farming; \xc2\xb7 GIS/GPS technology knowledge; \xc2\xb7 Strong communication skills; \xc2\xb7 Ability to work longer hours during critical seasons; \xc2\xb7 Excellent interpersonal skills; \xc2\xb7 Flexibility in adapting to a wide variety of tasks and functions. Assets: \xc2\xb7 Post-Secondary education; \xc2\xb7 Class 1A license; \xc2\xb7 Heavy equipment maintenance experience; \xc2\xb7 Administrative experience; \xc2\xb7 Leadership experience. There will be periodic wage reviews and the ability to move within the scale.
