We live where you live, work where you work and help grow the economy right here. Our Spruce View Farm Centre is looking for a part-time Farm Centre Associate to join our team. Part-time: 24 - 36 hours per week. Benefits eligible after 3 months. This position provides benefits. If you are coming from out of province, please remember you need to have AB health coverage to be enrolled by our benefits provider. Availability requirements: Weekdays and weekends -mornings (8:30 am start), afternoons and evenings (up to 5:45 pm). Responsibilities:
- Customer service,
- Operation of till system,
- Daily cash-ups,
- Clean shelves, bins, displays, and floors,
- Stock, face, rotate, and count inventory,
- Product labelling: signage, pricing, and product numbers,
- Order product as required and create purchase orders,
- Receive and unpack product,
- Other duties as assigned by the manager.
- Exceptional customer service skills,
- Attention to detail and quality,
- Ability to work independently and in a team,
- AG/Animal health experience is an asset,
- Some heavy lifting is required (up to 50 lbs.),
- Must be over the age of 14 (Employment Standards requires a permit to employ a person age 14 or under; therefore, disclosure is required).
