THE ROLE:
Agricultural mechanics are responsible for fixing tractors, combines and other farming implements. Often, mechanics use specialized skills and experience to locate and diagnose the machine's problem and then generate a cost-effective solution. We are looking for an individual who is a self-starter and enjoys a fun atmosphere. Desired Ag Service Technician candidate will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain agricultural equipment. Knowledge of, and/or experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical principles is preferred. CNH experience is an asset.This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.

• Performs complex diagnostics and repairs on equipment
• Performs diagnosis and repair in the field as required
• Supports customer clinics
• Utilize computer to research parts and technical information
• Maintains current knowledge of company competitive products
• Maintains condition of vehicles, inventory, tools and equipment
• Maintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly fashion
• Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments
• Completes all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments
• Accounts for all time and material used in performing assigned duties

QUALIFICATIONS:

• up to 1+ years of experience performing service repairs
• Ability to perform complex repairs and maintenance using special tools and equipment following procedures
• Expert knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems used in the repair of agricultural and turf equipment
• Excellent skills in operating vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes
• Basic computer functions
• Ability to lift at least 75 lbs. repeatedly
• Heavy Equipment or Agricultural Technician Journeyman preferred
• Valid driver's license required
