Merridale Cidery and Distillery is looking for someone who is interested in working in our gardens, orchard and assisting with our events - Someone who is willing to learn from the ground up seeking the opportunity for growth and advancement. A self-starter who is comfortable working independently but works well with others and is willing to jump in and help in all aspects of the business..
Efficiency is extremely important to us. We dont micromanage but we do want to work with you to help optimize your efficiency. This will include working to optimize daily scheduling, working together to critically assess work/task patterns in order to develop more efficient work flow.
Attitude is key and honestly goes a lot farther in this job than just about everything else!Heres what you will be doing,Monday - Friday

• Working the orchard - weeding, mowing, and apple picking.
• Working in the cellar - labeling, and cleaning
• Working on the grounds - general maintenance of the outdoor area, cellar and warehousing.

Heres what you need Be a self- started, and able to work on a team -We all help each other out

• Be physically fit, - You will need to lift heavy items such as a 50 lb keg
• Carry a big smile and have an awesome attitude - A positive outlook is everything
• Dont be afraid to get dirty
• Be able to multi-task -As a multi-faceted business, you will never focus on just one area
• A desire to grow - We encourage questions and appreciate those wanting to learn

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
