Roca Counselling is currently seeking 2 part time Registered Social Workers or Registered Psychotherapists. You will work collaboratively in a team and independently in a

remote

position to provide virtual psychotherapy to families experiencing separation or divorce. You will work with couples, children/teens, and families to provide Co-parenting Coaching, Reunification Therapy, in addition to meeting the familial therapeutic needs as a whole and individually.

Roca Counselling is a growing virtual clinic offering therapy in Ontario for the past 20 years. We work closely with lawyers and the legal system. You will have a minimum of 3 years experience in:

Co-parenting coaching Reunification therapy Trauma Recovery Conflict Resolution Grief/Loss Communication Skills Couples therapy is an asset Preparing objective comprehensive reports Impeccable oral and written skills in English Maintaining impeccable charting notes Highly skilled at de-escalation techniques And MUST be thrive comfortable working with high conflict situations Proven ability to stay highly organized and manage multiple priorities in high-stress situations Must thrive in high stress and conflictual situations. Understanding and training of Narcissism and Antagonistic features are an asset.

QUALIFICATIONS



The ideal candidate MUST have a Masters degree from a recognized university in Psychology, Social Work, or Psychotherapy and is Registered with the OCSWSSW or CRPO - no qualifying. Minimum 3-5 years clinical practice experience with demonstrated knowledge, skill, and ability in assessments, treatment plans, treatment, and evaluation of clients, report writing. Need current years Vulnerable Person Sector and Criminal Background Check completed as of application date. Must carry professional malpractice insurance minimum 2 mil, and submit annual written proof thereof.

IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS:



Solid command of the English language and the ability to effectively articulate and document is mandatory. Knowledge about and experience in the treatment of anxiety, depression, trauma, family therapy, couples therapy, de-escalation strategies, conflict resolution, attachment theory. Narcissism and antagonist features are a plus, and other major mental illnesses. Knowledge and skills in crisis intervention, CBT, trauma reduction, client-centred therapy, role modelling, and boundary setting. Excellent communication skills and the ability to be adaptable with a flexible approach taking into consideration the unique qualities of each client. Ability to work collaboratively in a group and independently Adhere to deadlines and excellent organizational skills. Exceptional interpersonal skills that promote trust, hope, positivity, resiliency, and the strength of the human spirit. Demonstrated commitment to professional development. Demonstrated ability to function independently and be self-directed to think critically and problem solve effectively. Commitment to customer service. Strong conflict management and resolution skills with the ability to remain authoritative yet empathetic, and to conduct unbiased information gathering while communicating effectively with clients, lawyers, the court system, and third parties during case conferencing. Empathetic understanding of each client's unique position in the family relationship, balanced with professional objectivity. Highly organized with excellent report writing skills, able to prepare clear, comprehensive, and court-ready documentation

Demonstrates ability to organize and prioritize workload, to respond effectively and efficiently to crisis and unexpected situations. Implement self-care strategies and ability to manage vicarious trauma. Must be willing to work 2-3 evenings per week to 7pm.
