Family Physician Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and maintain accurate medical histories. Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and other diagnostic procedures. Prescribe and administer treatments, medications, and immunizations. Provide vaccinations, preventive care, and health coaching to support patients in achieving lifestyle and wellness goals. Counsel patients and families on health, lifestyle, disease prevention, and chronic disease management. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physiotherapists, allied health professionals, and specialists, to ensure comprehensive patient care. Stay updated on advancements in medical technology and evidence-based practices to continuously improve patient outcomes. Build strong, long-term relationships with patients and the community.

Qualifications

Doctor of Medicine (MD) from a recognized institution Certification in Family Medicine from the

College of Family Physicians of Canada (CCFP)

Eligible for an

independent practice license with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO)

Licensure by the

Medical Council of Canada (LMCC or equivalent)

Minimum 1 year of clinical practice experience preferred (new graduates and international medical graduates with CPSO eligibility are welcome to apply) Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient-centered care skills

Compensation

: Approx. $260,000 - $460,000 annually under a Fee-for-Service model. We are open to discussion and negotiation to ensure a mutually beneficial arrangement.

Pay: $260,000.00-$460,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
