Job Description

Peter D. Eberlie Family Law & Mediation is seeking to hire a full-time Legal Assistant, to work at our firm.Job responsibilities:

  • to prepare and answer emails/letters - save in database
  • to handle phone/email and Zoom communications with clients
  • to assist in preparing Court documents, Conference Briefs, Mediation Briefs
  • to assist in preparing Separation Agreements, Cohabitation Agreements, Marriage Contracts
  • to assist in preparing Financial Statements and Net Family Property Briefs
  • to organize and maintain client files and record Court dates and deadlines
  • to assist in preparation for Oral Questioning, Mediations, Arbitrations and Trials
Qualifications:
  • College diploma (preferred)
  • 2 or more years of Family Law experience
  • in-depth knowledge of Family Law Rules, Court proceedings and Protocols
  • proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Divorcemate
  • experience with Primafact document database software and PCLaw
