Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing clear and compassionate communication.
Schedule meetings, manage client inquiries, maintain an organized workflow, ensuring all case deadlines and limitation dates are met.
Prepare and draft essential formal correspondence with careful attention to detail
Manage billing and timekeeping functions using legal software (Ex. Soluno and CosmoLex) and maintain daily timesheets detailing work completed
Legal Document Preparation & Court Filings
Assist lawyers in drafting and organizing legal documents, such as Financial Statements, Net Family Property Statements, Certificate of Financial Disclosure, Conference Briefs, Draft orders, Form 14B Motions and Affidavits.
Organize disclosure, tabbing and hyperlinking case law and exhibits.
Coordinate respectfully with court agents to ensure timely service and filing of documents.

Job Type: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 95% remote. Will be required to attend the office, in-person, for two days every month. Parking will be compensated.
Experience
Strong knowledge of family law procedures and court processes, minimum 2-3 years of experience
Ability to efficiently use legal software such as Divorcemate, Microsoft Office Suite, Case Center, Justice Services Online (JSO) portal, Soluno and Cosmolex.
Proficiency in legal research tools like CanLii and Westlaw
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity and discretion.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
