As an essential member of our family law team, you will:
Draft, prepare, and review legal documents including affidavits, pleadings, disclosure briefs, and financial statements.
Handle full-cycle trial preparation: organize exhibits, coordinate timelines, and prepare counsel for court.
Manage and maintain client files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality at every stage.
Coordinate court filings (including e-filing) and track filing deadlines in compliance with Family Law Rules and Rules of Civil Procedure.
Liaise with clients, opposing counsel, and court staff professionally and empathetically.
Transcribe legal correspondence (letters, memos, documents), and manage/close files.
Schedule and manage calendar obligations for assigned lawyer(s) including meetings, court dates, and deadlines.
Support general administrative tasks including photocopying, filing, binding, and related duties to keep the practice running smoothly.
What You Bring
We're looking for a confident, detail-driven professional with:
A Law Clerk Diploma and a minimum of 3 years' experience in Family Law.
Strong working knowledge of Family Law Rules and Rules of Civil Procedure, including all key filing deadlines.
Proficiency in essential legal software including DivorceMate, PC Law or Soluno, Worldox, Microsoft Word, Adobe, and CaseLines.
A solid understanding of court procedures and experience dealing directly with clients and legal professionals.
Exceptional organizational and communication skills--able to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines with a high degree of accuracy.
A collaborative mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
