Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate engaging STEAM workshops for kids aged 5-14.
Support students in building and programming robotics projects.
Adapt lessons to suit various learning styles and abilities.
Encourage creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving.
Ensure student safety and maintain a positive classroom environment.
Help with setup, takedown, and transport of materials between locations.
Work collaboratively with the Young Innovators team to deliver high-quality programming.
Qualifications:
Experience working with children or youth in a teaching, camp, or mentorship role.
Knowledge of basic STEM concepts--especially coding, robotics, or engineering (Required)
Ability to travel to locations in the Lower Mainland (Class 5 or 7 license required).
Access to a car required.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Energetic, reliable, and a positive role model.
Current (or willing to obtain) First Aid/CPR and Vulnerable Sector Check.
