The College of Dentistry invites applications from qualified individuals for a full-time tenure-track faculty position at the academic ranking of Assistant Professor. The successful candidate will be required to deliver didactic, pre-clinical and clinical teaching; supervise student research projects; initiate, lead, and participate in research activities; compete successfully for internal and external funding to support their research program; and undertake relevant administrative activities.



Applicants must possess a DDS/DMD or equivalent degree and provide evidence of collaborative academic achievements. A strong preference will be given to candidates who possess a PhD or MSc degree with a solid emerging record of research and/or academic accomplishments. Critical attributes include effective classroom teaching skills with experience higher than 5 years.



Salary bands for this position are as follows: Assistant Professor: $107,323 to $128,131. Independent of rank, a starting salary above the standard salary bands is usually common and possible in the College of Dentistry.



This position includes a comprehensive benefits package which includes a dental, health and extended vision care plan; pension plan, life insurance (compulsory and voluntary), academic long-term disability, sick leave, travel insurance, death benefits, an employee assistance program, a professional expense allowance, and a flexible health and wellness spending program.
