At the Associate Professor level, the expected pay range is ($110,000 xe2x80x93 $128,000) plus a generous benefits package.The School of Nursing at the University of British Columbiaxe2x80x99s Okanagan campus invites applications for a full-time faculty position at the Assistant Professor or Associate Professor level (tenure-track/tenured) to begin as early as July 1, 2025, although commencement date may be negotiated.Applicants require a PhD in nursing or a relevant health related field, and eligibility for registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM). The successful candidates must have a record of achievement in research and publications appropriate for their stage of career, and strong potential to develop and sustain an externally funded research program that will contribute to improvements in health or health care services. Applicants must also demonstrate strong potential for undergraduate and graduate teaching in their areas of expertise.An Assistant Professor will be required to provide evidence of scholarly activity in the form of peer-reviewed publications or other forms of knowledge dissemination that have a potential impact in the field locally, nationally and/or internationally. They must provide evidence of actual or potential opportunity for securing competitive external research funding and can demonstrate a capacity to provide instruction at various levels in nursing. An Associate Professor will have a strong track record of peer reviewed journal articles alongside expert research and/or teaching leadership that includes supervision of doctoral students and/or mentorship of early career researchers. Teaching scholarship will include involvement in curriculum design and innovation, in addition to evidence of securing competitive external research funding.The School of Nursing [ ] is housed within the Faculty of Health and Social Development.
