Tasks

Direct and control construction projects Direct and control the operations of commercial facilities Evaluate the operations of facilities and the included real estate Oversee the preparation of reports and statistics related to areas of responsibility Plan and organize construction projects Plan and organize the operations of the facilities and the included real estate Prepare reports and statistics related to areas of responsibility Read blueprints to determine dimensions of structure or system and material requirements Develop reports and proposals to illustrate benefits from use of good or service Estimate costs of installing and maintaining equipment or service Provide input into product design where goods or services must be tailored to suit client's needs Administer contracts for the provision of supplies and services Develop and implement schedules and procedures for safety inspections and preventive maintenance programs Direct the maintenance and repair of an establishment's machinery, equipment and electrical and mechanical systems Hire and oversee training and supervision of staff Oversee the installation, maintenance and repair of real estate infrastructures including machinery, equipment and electrical and mechanical systems Oversee the leasing of space in the facility and the included real estate and the development of marketing strategies Plan and manage the facility's operations budget Plan, organize and direct administrative services such as signage, cleaning, maintenance, parking, safety inspections, security and snow removal Organize and maintain inventory
