Duties and responsibilities
Assist the Operations Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing daily operational activities to meet organizational goals.
Oversee team members' performance, providing guidance, motivation, and support to foster a productive work environment.
Monitor operational processes to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements across all functions.
Coordinate with different departments to streamline communication and facilitate smooth workflow transitions.
Prepare reports on operational metrics, incidents, and team performance for management review.
Support inventory management, equipment maintenance, and logistical arrangements to optimize resource utilization.
Knowledge and skills

Education and Qualifications
Grade 12 Diploma
Must possess a valid class 5 driver's license
Experience in agriculture or other sales/customer service function is an asset
Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered; Willing to train the successful candidate
Working Conditions & Benefits
Regular schedule; 8am - 5pm with opportunity for overtime during busy season.
