We are seeking a Facility Manager to oversee the operations of our childcare facility located in Agassiz. This role is crucial in ensuring a safe, and welcoming environment for both children and staff, aligning with our mission to provide high-quality childcare.

Responsibilities

Manage the daily operations of the facilities, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Ensure cleanliness and organization of all areas within the facilities. Collaborate with staff to identify facility needs and improvements. Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment necessary for facility operations. Implement facility policies that promote safety and efficiency. Conduct regular inspections to ensure optimal facility conditions. Manage relationships, staff, families and with external vendors.

Qualifications

Proven experience in facilities management or related field. Strong understanding of health and safety legislation relevant to childcare settings. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Experience managing an early childhood education environment is a must. Valid ECE Certificate a must Provincial Wage Enhancement included.
