Hours:

~30 hours/week, flexible schedule including weekends

Facility Manager (FM)

to lead our operations, mentor our team, and elevate the experience for every family who walks through our doors.

As our Facility Manager, you'll move beyond coordinating daily tasks--you'll

own the operations, inspire our team, and shape the culture of Brave Waves

. This role is ideal for someone ready to take the next step from supportive leadership to full operational ownership.

What You'll Do



Lead daily operations of our facility, including front desk, lifeguards, maintenance, and class flow. Mentor and develop staff and Assistant Facility Managers, fostering a positive and collaborative culture. Take ownership of systems including IClassPro, Homebase, and facility operations to ensure smooth, efficient, and proactive management. Oversee safety protocols, including audits, chemical management, and WSIB reporting. Manage vendor relationships and coordinate maintenance or facility needs. Handle scheduling, payroll review, and operational reporting to owners. Resolve escalated customer concerns with empathy, professionalism, and a service-minded approach. Lead culture-building initiatives and drive continuous improvement across the team.

Perform any role at Brave Waves as needed

, including swim instruction, front desk, or lifeguard coverage.

Requirements



Lifeguard qualification

(current and valid).

Swim teacher experience

with children of various ages and skill levels.

Standard First Aid certification

(current). Experience in leadership or management, ideally in a customer-facing or operations-focused environment. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and coaching skills. Ability to lead by example, inspire trust, and influence others through servant leadership. Comfort with operational systems (IClassPro, Homebase, or similar) and technology. Passion for community, team culture, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
