## Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Facility Maintenace Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in

Carpentry, electrical and mechanical skills.

safe operation of hand and power tools.

Basic understanding of plumbing, electrical and appliance maintenance.

## Duties
Perform a variety of building and grounds maintenance duties.

Familiarize self with and follow requirements within Operating and Maintenance (O+M) Manuals.

Follow a planned maintenance schedule.

Perform regular checks on identified areas to ensure planned maintenance is occurring.

Trouble shoot and/or complete repairs and maintenance in line with facility O+M Manuals.

Maintain service logs and provider contacts listings.

Maintain facilities maintenance log of tasks completed.

Take no action that would alter the building envelope and risk future non-performance of building envelope without the correct intervention. (Do not perforate the building envelope)

Trouble shoot issues regarding repairs of all equipment (TV's, Kitchen appliances etc.)

Maintain tools and workspace in an organized and orderly manner.

In conjunction with manager, identify when contracted vendors or sub trades are required.

Oversee and advise regarding external service providers/contractors for various services such as lawn mowing, snow removal and parking lot maintenance.

Foster positive public relations with vendors and all contacts.

Collaborate with Manager in establishing work priorities.

Source and pick up various small items required for maintenance such as paint, and other small plumbing or building supplies.

Performs other related duties as required.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 per hour
