Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Providing leadership and mentoring
- Passing and maintaining all Dept. of Education and Early Childhood Development expectations and licensing requirements
- Passing and maintaining all requirements and expectations from Fire and Health
- Reviewing and knowing and following all St. Joe?s policies, procedures
- Review and follow the Collective agreement
- Maintaining enrolment, supplies, marketing
- General Admin work within the centre and the organization
- Supporting and encouraging a positive work culture
- Working collaboratively with the teaching team within the centre and the teams at other locations
- Working collaboratively with other members of the management team and outside agencies
- Supporting the financial wellness of the organization
- Fundraising and participation in organizational events
Applicant Requirements:
- ECE Classification Level 2 or 3
- Valid Emergency First Aid / CPR Level C
- Clear Criminal Record Check including vulnerable sector
- Clear Child Abuse Registry Check
- Valid NS Food Handlers Course
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Email and other related computer skills
- Supervisory experience an asset
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $25.73-$30.15 per hour
