Write the next chapter of your ABB story.This position reports toDirectrice de siteYour role and responsibilitiesThe Facilities Manager reports to the Site Director within the Analytical Business Unit in Quebec, Canada. They manage or coordinate operating expenses, including repair and maintenance services, cleaning services, security services, utility expenses, energy costs, and maintenance of common areas. They support the selection of the facilities management model to integrate best market practices. Roles and Responsibilities \xe2\x80\xa2 Lead the planning and implementation of maintenance, testing, and inspection schedules to ensure the team operates safely and efficiently, extending equipment lifespan and meeting statutory obligations. \xe2\x80\xa2 Supervise and manage building maintenance and repair operations, including fire safety equipment and systems. \xe2\x80\xa2 Manage the building maintenance budget, negotiate service contracts with external suppliers, and monitor their performance. \xe2\x80\xa2 Maintain records of compliance certificates and ensure facility security solutions and services meet ABB safety standards. \xe2\x80\xa2 Manage all facilities and real estate services to maximize energy efficiency, conduct assessments, and recommend energy-saving solutions. \xe2\x80\xa2 Provide transparency on facility and process energy consumption. \xe2\x80\xa2 Evaluate buildings and recommend improvements in line with ABB\'s "Green Real Estate" approach. \xe2\x80\xa2 Manage common areas, including parking lots and green spaces, to ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and adherence to established guidelines. \xe2\x80\xa2 Oversee activities such as landscaping and snow removal to maintain the appearance, functionality, and safety of common areas. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensure all real estate activities are conducted with necessary safety controls to mitigate risks, in collaboration with the Health and Safety Manager. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensure compliance with ABB\'s asset management and services policy. \xe2\x80\xa2 Manage site security and accessQualifications for the role

  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, facilities management).
  • Ability to work in a regulated and structured environment.
  • Flexible schedule (available outside regular working hours).
  • Excellent priority management.

  • Organizational skills.
  • Bilingual in English and French.
