Facilities Technician / Operator

What's the Job?
? Location: Multiple properties (travel required)
? Shift: Monday-Friday, 7am-5pm or 9am-5pm
? On-Call: Required for emergencies
? Pay Rate:
- Contract: $29/hr
- FTE Conversion Range: $29-$31/hr
- Experience in commercial and industrial environments
- Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS)
- Valid driver's license and own vehicle (mileage reimbursed)
- Working at Heights certification
- Safety boots
- BES Certificate is an asset
- Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility equipment
- Install and maintain HVAC, plumbing, lighting, and mechanical systems
- General maintenance (e.g., sweeping, litter pickup, pressure washing)
- Respond to tenant service requests with excellent customer service
- Monitor automated control systems and environmental hazards
- Assist with inspections, reporting, and sustainability initiatives
- Participate in health & safety programs and community events
- 2-4 years of relevant experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, BMS systems)
