Our Properties and Facilities client is seeking a full time, permanent Facilities Supervisor to support the maintenance activities and operations of their sites.

A typical day:

Manage the maintenance activities and daily operations of building systems (electrical, mechanical, automation systems). This includes managing landscaping and minor building issues.

Support building related projects and upgrades.
/lili
Provide guidance and support to contractors.
/lili
Maintain and update the facilities\' maintenance program.
/lili
Support the development and management of maintenance budgets.
/lili
Utilize and maintain preventative maintenance programs for key systems.
/lili
Complete maintenance reporting.
/lili
Create and maintain all maintenance records for the UPS/genset, HVAC equipment and elevator systems.

Successful candidates will have:

3-5+ years\' experience in facilities maintenance, with progressive responsibility.

Experience with plumbing, electrical, carpentry/millwork, painting and physical assets.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and action items with urgency.
/lili
Ability to work on call/after hours as needed.
/lili
Valid provincial driver\'s license and good driving record.
/lili
Ability to trouble-shoot plumbing, electrical and mechanical issues.
/lili
Able to provide mentorship and leadership to team members and contractors.
/lili
Knowledge of HVAC systems, chiller operations, UPS and EPS systems and automated building and lighting control systems.
