Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Facilities Maintenance Technician to support day-to-day operations by ensuring our facility is clean, safe, organized, and well-maintained. This hands-on role involves a mix of material handling, janitorial duties, general maintenance, and workspace organization to support a smooth and efficient working environment.

Duties

Perform routine cleaning of work areas, common spaces, and restrooms Safely handle and move materials, supplies, and equipment as needed Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing incoming materials Conduct regular inspections of facility equipment and report any maintenance needs Support basic facility repairs and upkeep (e.g., replacing lights, clearing debris, minor fixes) Keep tool rooms, storage areas, and shop floors clean and well-organized Ensure walkways and emergency exits remain clear and hazard-free Work with other departments to ensure timely and safe flow of materials throughout the plant Maintain compliance with health and safety standards at all times Participate in seasonal or project-based cleanup and organization tasks

Qualifications

Prior experience in facilities maintenance, janitorial work, or material handling preferred Physically fit and able to lift/move heavy materials (up to 75 lbs) Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently Forklift or pallet jack experience is an asset Comfortable working in industrial or warehouse environments Basic knowledge of hand tools and maintenance practices
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
