Your place in our story
The Compliance Administrator provides essential support to the compliance team, handling responsibilities including report filing, vendor scheduling, minute-taking for meetings, and management of the compliance general inbox. The successful candidate will demonstrate exemplary administrative abilities, a readiness to acquire proficiency in new technologies, an intermediate understanding of building systems and infrastructure, as well as strong communication and interpersonal capabilities.
Here's how you'll contribute
  • Oversee the compliance team general inbox, ensuring timely filing and distribution of reports to relevant parties and locations, and maintaining consistent coverage during staff absences.
  • Serve as a liaison between vendors and accounts payable to address invoice issues or inquiries, including facilitating TSSA invoice approvals.
  • Attend compliance team meetings, accurately record minutes, and distribute them to participants.
  • Assist with managing and maintaining a current inventory of equipment.
  • Track and update records related to red tags, including sprinkler impairments and TSSA tags.
  • Review and circulate quotes to appropriate stakeholders; monitor the progress of repair activities.
  • Organize annual compliance training schedules with site operations for Life Safety; track completion of training by team members.
  • Coordinate meetings with site teams during business travel.
  • Oversee Compliance folders to ensure all materials remain current and properly maintained

  • Post-secondary education at the university or college level.
  • At least three (3) years of relevant professional experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project).
  • Bilingualism is considered an asset.
