Facilities & Operations Assistant - Keep Our Facility Running Smoothly & Efficiently

We're hiring a full-time

Facilities & Operations Assistant

to support the day-to-day functioning of our manufacturing facility. This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on, organized, safety-focused, and experienced with material handling and facility upkeep.

You will help maintain a clean, safe, and efficient workplace, support inventory movement, assist with shipping/receiving, and contribute to the smooth operation of our production environment. This position is essential to ensuring our teams can work effectively and that our facility reflects Pack-Smart's commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe facility environment through routine housekeeping, floor care, and waste removal. Safely handle, store, and organize inventory components to support smooth production and assembly workflows. Manage shipping and receiving activities, including unloading/loading materials, verifying incoming goods, and preparing outgoing shipments. Operate forklifts or other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently (training/certification an asset). Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless facility and operations support.

Qualifications

Experience in manufacturing environment. Forklift experience (Counterbalance) is REQUIRED Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints, schematics, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) is a plus. Comfortable lifting, moving, and organizing materials and equipment (up to 25-50 lbs). Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
