Purpose of Role:As a member of our Plant Engineering team, you will be at the forefront of ensuring our equipment's reliability and safety while contributing to facility improvements and upgrades. You will collaborate with experienced maintenance teams, operations, and contractors to implement innovative solutions and optimize maintenance plans. Your role will involve hands-on technical assistance and fostering relationships with engineers, technologist, tradespeople, and internal clients. By participating in maintenance activities and capital projects, you will gain valuable experience and contribute to the continuous improvement of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:Maintenance: Optimizing and implementing maintenance plans and schedules to ensure efficacy and compliance. Design and Development: Assisting internal clients with the execution of tasks and activities, including but not limited to building upgrades and test facility design. Innovation: Identification and implementation of innovative solutions for continuous improvement of the facility. Reliability: Coordination with contractors and maintenance teams to carry out maintenance and address any equipment downtime. Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.


Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:Any equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered for candidates that have the ability to perform the objectives above. Completion of an Engineering Degree at the University level or completion of an Engineering Technology program. A member of the Order des Ingenieurs du Quebec (OIQ) or Ordre des Technologues Professionnels du Quebec (OTPQ) is an asset. Canadian citizenship, with 10 or more years residing in Canada with no periods longer than six continuous months out of country, is absolutely necessary as part of the requirements to obtain a government security clearance to the minimum level of Secret.

Responsabilites principales:Maintenance: Optimisation et mise en oeuvre des plans et calendriers d'entretien afin d'assurer l'efficacite et la conformite. Conception et developpement: Soutien aux clients internes dans l'execution des taches et activites, incluant, entre autres, la modernisation des batiments et la conception des installations d'essai. Innovation: Identification et integration de solutions novatrices visant l'amelioration continue des infrastructures. Fiabilite: Coordination avec les entrepreneurs et les equipes de maintenance pour effectuer l'entretien et resoudre les arrets d'equipement. Connaissances professionnelles, formation et qualifications:Toute combinaison equivalente de formation et d'experience sera prise en consideration pour les candidats ayant les competences necessaires pour atteindre les objectifs mentionnes ci-dessus.
