An Abbotsford Fire Truck Manufacturing company is seeking Aluminum Welder-Fabricator to join our team. We are a long-standing, local business with many long-term employees, and are looking to add a few more dedicated professionals.

A strong attention to detail and careful finishing is a must. Experience in custom fabrication and forming metals (primarily aluminum). Canadian Welding Certification an asset but not required.

This position is typically Monday to Friday shifts but may require the odd Saturday. reliability, dependability, and a positive attitude are a must. The applicant must be willing to self-study industry specific technical information.

What You Will Do

Perform custom aluminum fabrication and forming for truck bodies. Assemble aluminum components and structures according to blueprints, technical drawings and specifications. Utilize various fabrication techniques, including cutting, bending, and welding to create precise and high-quality metal structures (primarily aluminum). Operate cutting equipment to shape and trim aluminum pieces to required sizes. Execute various welding techniques, including MIG and TIG welding to join aluminum parts. Quality Control - inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality and safety standards.

Based on experience and qualifications. Salary range: $30.00-$38.00 per hour

This position may require occasional work on weekends, outside of regular work hours. Includes EHT plus fully paid health and dental plan. Includes bonus plan for on time production. Stop commuting and work locally.
