We are currently seeking motivated individuals to join our Vehicle Assembly Team. This is a hands-on production role where you will help build high-quality campervans. Roadtrek Inc. is recruiting for a

Fabrication Team Member

to join our team. Regular hours of work will be 40 hours per week Monday to Friday, from 6:30 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. Work hours may increase or decrease, from time to time, in accordance with the Collective Agreement or as agreed between the parties in writing.

Responsibilities

Cut, assemble, and prepare motorhome components for installation.

Operate thermal former, edge bander, and various wood shop machinery (e.g., table saws, drill press, handheld power tools, mitre saws, routers) safely and efficiently.

Meet or exceed production, quality, and safety targets.

Inspect own work and perform necessary repairs to ensure quality standards are met.

Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs as required.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Communicate production progress and report material shortages to the Supervisor promptly.

Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve departmental and plant-wide production goals.

Perform additional job-related duties as assigned by the Supervisor, in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Ability to read and interpret drawings/blueprints is mandatory.

Forklift operation experience is a definite asset.

Cabinet building experience is considered beneficial.

Familiarity with inventory management systems to assist with material tracking, material flow, waste reduction, cost control, and accurate job planning.

Secondary School Diploma or GED preferred.

Mechanically inclined with strong basic math skills (addition, subtraction, division, fractions).

Prior experience in a manufacturing setting using both power and hand tools is ideal.

Excellent manual dexteritywith strong written and verbal communication skills

Detail-oriented, quick to learn, dependable, and punctual.

Proficient in using Microsoft Excel and email communication tools
