Responsibilities



Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Oversee daily operations of the fabrication shop to ensure efficiency and quality. Ensure high visibility of work activities and results to stakeholders. Set and achieve targets to drive shop performance and success. Monitor and evaluate team performance, providing feedback and development opportunities. Implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste. Train and mentor team members to foster professional growth and skill development. Lead team meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and updates. Coordinate with other departments to align production goals with company objectives. Maintain inventory levels and order materials as needed to meet production demands. Develop and maintain a pipeline for potential projects and clients. Analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Experience/Qualifications



Welding experience Red Seal preferred Pressure welding experience required Supervisory experience required Piping and structural steel background. Strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards in fabrication. Proven experience in supervising fabrication shop operations for at least 3 years. Excellent communication skills for leading team meetings and stakeholder updates. Ability to set and achieve performance targets to enhance shop success. Skills in training and mentoring team members for skill development. Proven ability to implement process improvements to enhance productivity. Proficiency in analyzing production data to identify trends and improvements. Experience in coordinating with different departments to align production goals. Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain a pipeline for projects and clients. Experience in maintaining inventory levels and ordering materials as needed.
