What You'll Do in the Role:

Lead, coach, and mentor a team of skilled fabricators working on prototypes and next generation machinery Oversee fabrication schedules, workflow planning, and material coordination using lean principles Collaborate with engineering to bring machine designs to life--on time, on budget, and to spec Manage fabrication inventory and maintain detailed records for production projects Contribute to long-term capacity planning, budgeting, and strategy development for fabrication operations

What We're Looking For

Proven leader with experience managing high-performing fabrication, production, or skilled trades teams. Background in metal fabrication, machining, or industrial manufacturing Confidence in reading and interpreting engineering drawings/blueprints Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles (5S, Kanban, pull systems, etc.) Experience supporting new product or machine development (an asset)
