Fabrication Manager

to help us bring innovative new equipment to life. If you're a hands-on leader with a passion for manufacturing excellence and building high-performing teams, this is your opportunity to help shape the future of our operations.

As the R&D Fabrication Manager, you'll oversee the fabrication of machines and equipment that support both our internal production needs and external sales. You'll lead a team of fabricators with various specialized skills and drive continuous improvement in a facility where innovation, safety, and lean practices go hand in hand.

What You'll Do in the Role:

Lead, train, and support a team of skilled fabricators working on prototypes and new production machinery Oversee fabrication schedules, workflow planning, and material coordination using lean principles Collaborate with engineering to bring machine designs to life--on time, on budget, and to spec Manage fabrication inventory and maintain detailed records for production projects Contribute to long-term capacity planning, budgeting, and strategy development for fabrication operations Occasionally travel to support installations or upgrades at off-site locations

What We're Looking For:

Strong leadership skills with experience managing skilled trades or fabrication teams Background in metal fabrication, machining, or industrial manufacturing Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints Familiar with lean manufacturing principles (5S, Kanban, pull systems, etc.) Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for off-site work as needed Previous involvement in new product or machine development
