Hours:
Approx. 30-35 hrs/week
(10 hrs F&B Operations Coordinator AND 20-25 hrs FOH + BOH Support) - different pay rates apply for the 2 roles)
Reports to:
General Manager
What You'll Do:
Lead the FOH with energy, professionalism, and warmth
Deliver top-notch service in a clean, welcoming environment
Oversee daily operations--reservations, private events, service flow
Create and manage monthly staff schedules
Help with social media content and event ideas for The Nest* Train new servers and support BOH training
Order and organize liquor inventory to AGLC standards
Ensure POS accuracy--pricing, deals, menu updates
Provide information about the menu, answer queries about food and beverage options
Take food and drink orders and communicate these to kitchen, run food
Process payments (we are cashless) and ensure end of day reporting is completed
Ensure that tables are correctly set, side stations are tidy, and the dining areas are welcoming and clean
Handle customer complaints professionally, escalating them to management when necessary
Respond to customer feedback with professionalism and care
Ensure AHS & AGLC requirements are being followed and proper documentation in place and collected
Jump in where needed: serve, bartend and an asset would be to fill in the BOH but not mandatory
Ensure that waste, food costs, and inventory are being done correctly and completed on time
Stay informed on WHCA events and share with guests
You Bring:
A passion for hospitality and team leadership
FOH experience (server, bartender) BOH experience (cook), or willing to learn
Managerial experience (an asset, not a deal-breaker)
Experience with TouchBistro would be an asset
ProServe certification
Food safety awareness, willing to get food handling certificate
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stay on your feet for long shifts
