Job Description

Machine operation:

Set up and run extrusion machinery, monitoring its performance throughout the production run.

Process monitoring:

Observe the process to ensure product quality and efficiency, making real-time adjustments to machine settings as needed.

Quality control:

Conduct regular quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications for shape, size, and thickness.

Maintenance and troubleshooting:

Perform routine maintenance tasks like cleaning and lubricating machinery, and troubleshoot minor operational issues to minimize downtime.

Production management:

Perform order changes, adjust equipment for different products, and manage production targets for output and waste.

Safety and sanitation:

Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe work environment and maintain a clean workspace.

Record keeping:

Maintain accurate production records and complete necessary paperwork.

Skills and qualifications

Strong understanding of the extrusion process and machinery. Minimum 1-3 years extrusion experience. Ability to perform minor adjustments and troubleshoot equipment. Attention to detail and commitment to quality control. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work efficiently and independently. Commitment to safety procedures

Working conditions:

Must wear safety shoes, hearing protection, and hair net and other appropriate PPE where required

Will be exposed to hot, humid conditions

Works in plant where there is exposure to noise

Work involves a high degree of visual attention involving constant attention when inspecting production

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
