The

Extrusion Machine Operator's

role includes maintaining and operating plastic extrusion machinery, handling raw material for extrusion operations, general duties as well as assisting other operators in production. We are looking for individuals with previous warehouse/manufacturing and extrusion experience who are interested in expanding their skills, and learning new skills, to have an opportunity to grow with our excellent Signature Plastics team.

Responsibilities:

Ensure all lines are running without quality concerns at the beginning and throughout the shift. Maintain and operate plastic extrusion machinery, handle raw material for extrusion operations. Install dies and essential parts for manufacturing plastic extrusions using multiple hand tools. Operate extrusion machines to produce required parts as determined by production schedule and to customer requirements. Operate extruder to produce profiles that meet established quality standards. Ensure product compliance with drawings and specifications. Packaging product from production line. Loading machine hoppers with material. Use common hand tools to set up, breakdown, and clean equipment between product changes per company guidelines.

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 year manufacturing experience. Minimum 2 years' experience as an Extrusion Machine Operator. This job requires the ability to lift 35lbs repeatedly throughout the day. Strong communication skills and the ability to follow direction as required. Forklift experience is a benefit.

Job Details:

Hours: 12 Hour Shift, Monday - Thursday
