Position: External Sales Representative
Location: MontrealDo you have experience in outside sales? Are you familiar with electrical products or construction products? Are you looking to cover the region of Montreal?
Our client, an international distributor of electric products is looking for an External Sales Representative to join their team in Saint-Laurent!

Your profile?
- Excellent level in French
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor\'s degree preferred
- Valid driving licence
- Sales experience required, preferably in external sales
- Two years of electrical or construction industry experience preferred
- Ability to travel and work on a flexible schedule
- Excellent sales, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques desirable
- Ability to travel 50 to 75% of the time.
Your role?
As an external sales representative, you will be the driving force behind the development of new prospects and interacting with assigned clients to boost sales and the profit margin of the company\'s products and/or services. You will primarily focus on face-to-face sales activities and account management to achieve revenue targets by assessing client needs and offering tailored solutions. A certain degree of creativity and autonomy is required, as well as the ability to engage with clients at various levels of their organization.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute assigned client account plans
- Implement profit margin initiatives through value-added services, marketing programs, and collaboration with suppliers
- Prospect new clients through cold calls and referrals
- Identify client needs and propose relevant products and services
- Demonstrate the usefulness of products or services to clients
- Ensure customer satisfaction and resolve post-sale issues
- Maintain regular communication with clients to inform them of updates
- Utilize sales management tools for planning and documentation
- Develop product expertise through the company and supplier training
- Establish strong relationships with suppliers, including joint sales calls
