Then, watch for a unique link in your email to apply.We are looking for a Full-time Exterior General Maintenance worker to join our team at Yorkdale Shopping Centre. In this role, you will maintain the high standards of the Shopping Centre.In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Property detailing including maintaining sidewalks and parking areas free of litter and debris
• Landscape maintenance including maintaining all green belts & shrub beds free of litter, weeds and dead & damaged plant materials
• Cleaning debris from plants areas
• Cleaning of exterior mall elements, waste cans, ash trays, non-smoking signs, lighting poles, benches, bike racks, and signage
• Removal of waste / recycling bags from waste collection units in area of responsibility
• Property repair
• Maintain the Outer Properties including:
• Maintaining sidewalks and parking areas free of litter and debris
• Cleaning of exterior mall elements, waste cans, ash trays, non-smoking signs, lighting poles, benches, bike racks, and signage
• Removal of waste / recycling bags from waste collection units in area of responsibility
• Maintain pedestrian walkways free of ice and snow, either by using manual snow shovels, power snow blower / snow thrower
• Apply ice melting product(s) to maintain a slip free surface

To be successful in this role, you have:

• 2-3 years of work-related experience
• Grade 12/OSSD is required. College Certificate/Diploma or equivalent in one of the Horticultural trades, construction trades, or agriculture is preferred
• Basic knowledge of exterior operations; the maintenance & care of exterior surfaces; the maintenance & culture of trees, shrubs, turf, and ornamental plants; the operation & maintenance of trucks, tractors & power tools & equipment; and the repair of related property elements such as signage, asphalt, concrete, and lighting
• Must hold a valid Ontario Class G Drivers\xe2\x80\x99 License (Clean abstract required)
• Ability to organize oneself to manage varying workloads under varying climatic conditions
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Basic knowledge of the maintenance & culture of trees, shrubs, turf, and ornamental plants
