Job Description

Jealous Fruits is the northern most large-scale cherry producer in North America. We grow premium cherries along the shores of Okanagan Lake in the renowned Okanagan Valley of British Columbia, Canada. Our cherries are all hand packed in our state-of-the-art facility, located right on our farm, and shipped to customers worldwide.



Job Summary

The Export Sales Manager is an integral part of Jealous Fruits commercial team. Leading export sales execution and contributing to the development of the export strategy are key components of the role. A strong understanding of the overall commercial sales strategy is essential for the long-term development and success of this position.



Duties and responsibilities



In Season Export Sales:



Work with Sales Team and CCO to deliver on Export Sales Plan Actively pursue market intelligence from customers and other network groups to ensure understanding of current market dynamics Ensure Jealous Fruits customer experience is delivered Proactively communicate with customer base

Out of Season Export Sales:



Complete post-season analysis of export market performance and look for areas of improvement and areas of risk Update pricing model for corporate budget planning Develop annual sales planning forecast and market update Assist in the development of new fruit varieties sales and marketing programs Work to secure third party funding to continue to build sales and marketing programs

Business Intelligence:



Support Sales Support to develop and automate sales planning and tracking tools Own the Sales Portal and ensure timely developments, updates and accuracy Develop and maintain sales profitability tools to assist in business planning Provide support in ad-hoc business intelligence deliverables

Qualifications

Knowledge of commercial sales and marketing plan Knowledge of business systems and analytical tools Knowledge of customer base, export markets, and external factors Very effective organizational, problem-solving, project management skills. Excellent leadership, written and oral communication skills. Strong time management skills. Ability in decision making and establishing priorities. Strong computer skills - word processing, spreadsheets, and presentations. Strong Interpersonal skills with ability to build and maintain professional working relationships with all stakeholders.
