We are seeking a highly organized and strategic Logistics Manager to oversee the planning, implementation, and coordination of our company's export ocean operations . The ideal candidate will ensure the efficient movement of goods, optimize logistics processes, and manage relationships with vendors and transportation providers. This role is vital in maintaining the seamless flow of products from suppliers to customers, supporting overall business growth and customer satisfaction.

Duties

Develop and execute logistics strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs Coordinate transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure timely procurement of materials Monitor shipping schedules and track deliveries to ensure on-time arrivals Negotiate contracts with carriers, suppliers, and third-party logistics providers Analyze logistics data to identify areas for process improvement Lead a team of logistics coordinators and support staff, providing training and performance feedback Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies Prepare reports on logistics performance metrics for senior management

Qualifications

Proven experience in logistics management Korean / Japanese would be an asset DG Cargo experience would be an asset Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively Excellent negotiation and communication skills Proficiency in logistics software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems Knowledge of transportation regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices Ability to analyze data and develop actionable insights Leadership experience with the ability to motivate and guide a team Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred; relevant work experience will also be considered
