This role is responsible for managing export bookings, coordinating vessel allocations, and providing top-tier customer support in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. The successful candidate will ensure accurate documentation, resolve shipping issues, and maintain smooth communication with customers and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Manage vessel allocations and optimize booking processes.
Create, revise, cancel, and update bookings, including rail bookings.
Coordinate with terminals and rail providers on cut-off times and forecast bookings.
Respond to customer inquiries regarding schedules, routing, and documentation via phone and email.
Maintain accurate customer profiles and contact details in the system.
Submit and manage hazardous (DG) shipment documentation and permits.
Troubleshoot issues related to terminals, Customs, EDI/ACI, and rail operations.
Monitor vessel closings to balance cargo weight and space allocation.
