Job Description
The incumbent conducts analyses of functional business requirements and participate in the development of business cases in the support of BI projects. He/she understands how data is turned into information and knowledge for decision making.
Responsibilities
- Write up and validate functional specifications and technical documentation describing the KPIs, the dimensions required for analysis and the transformations to be done on data, for BI projects, initiatives and change request demands;
- Propose, conceive and validate the solutions and develop an action plan to put it into place in collaboration with the data engineers;
- Support the team in the development of complex functions during the realisation and the testing of the solutions;
- Collaborate with different teams: from business partners to functional analysts (intern and extern) and support them in elaborating BI solutions;
- Support users concerning the solutions and data models developed.
- University diploma in computer management or the equivalen;
- Minimum of 7 years experience in BI solutions implementation: Datawarehouse, data marts, etc;
- Good knowledge SQL;
- Methodology and process development control with strong ability to learn new technologies;
- Strong team spirit;
- Bilingual (English and French), spoken and written.
